Agent skill

Install one skill and your coding agent can deploy, share and read back how people used your app, without you leaving the conversation.

Install

terminal
npx inverse-embed skill install

This writes ~/.claude/skills/inverse/SKILL.md, where Claude Code finds it. For another agent, or to keep the skill with one project, choose the folder, or print it and paste it into the agent's instructions file.

terminal
npx inverse-embed skill install --dir .claude/skills/inverse
npx inverse-embed skill install --print # to stdout

What to say

The skill is triggered by plain requests like these:

  • “Ship this to Inverse.”
  • “Share it with ana@team.co.”
  • “Who can open my app?”
  • “My app is blank in the Inverse room.”
  • “What did people struggle with in the demo?”

What the agent does on its own

StepWhat happens
Sign inSkips this when INVERSE_TOKEN is set or a login is saved. Otherwise it runs inverse login and asks you to click Authorize. It never prints the token.
DeployRuns inverse deploy --json in the folder with package.json and follows the events it streams: a preflight list of env variables Inverse doesn't have yet (it asks you before pushing any), each build phase, and the build log. On an error it reads the log (also saved to .inverse/deploys/), fixes the cause and deploys again.
Hand backGives you the live link and points you to /dev.
ShareOnly when you ask: --link, --public, --private, --email or --price.
Read sessionsRuns inverse sync or the MCP server to learn what people said and did, then uses it to plan the next change.
Fix framingFor an app hosted elsewhere, it adds the inverse-embed adapter so Inverse may frame it, without weakening your other security headers.

It doesn't stop to ask unless a step fails. It doesn't change who can open an app unless you ask.

In CI or a remote agent

No browser? Pass a token and the agent skips sign-in.

terminal
INVERSE_TOKEN=inv_… npx inverse-embed deploy --json
